About the Portsmouth Netball Association Please note that due to Covid-19 PNA are not currently running a competitive league but are hopeful that competitive netball will be permitted for the Winter 2021/22 season.
Welcome to the home of the Portsmouth Netball Association (PNA), a member of England Netball (EN, South Region and Hampshire Netball). This site is intended to be the first port of call for all members looking for information regarding fixtures, results, constitutional rules, league tables, meetings and training tips as well as for anyone looking to contact PNA for any other information.
The league consists of between 5 - 6 divisions a season; teams are allocated to a division based on the team's standard although the number of teams in each division can vary from season to season as the division size is dependent on the number of teams entering the league. PNA splits the league into 2 seasons with the winter season typically starting in September and the summer season typically starting in March/April. Promotions and relegations from each division are decided by a play-off game at the end of the season using independent officials. All games are played on Tuesday evenings starting at either 18:30 or 19:55 and are played over 2 or more venues, all in the Portsmouth area.PNA welcomes new teams of any standard so if you are interested in entering a team for the next season please send an email to:- email@example.com
In line with data privacy all members of PNA and particularly the PNA committee, have a responsibility to protect any personal information regarding contact details, membership numbers etc, that they have received as part of the PNA league processes e.g. for creation of fixtures, contact points etc.In no circumstances, except outlined above, must any PNA member reveal personal details to 3rd party contacts or for marketing/advertising purposes without an express signed approval waiver from the members involved.
