Important Notice:  Change to Spectator Rule   (Added: 17/05/2021)
Following updated guidance from England Netball, spectators will be allowed at PNA games where the individual venue allows. At present we have had confirmation from Portsmouth Uni to allow spectators but not Crookhorn College. Spectators are not allowed within the court fences, and they will have to complete the NHS Track and Trace check in and confirm their name and the player they are watching with a PNA Marshall. There has been no change to the number of players (8 per team + 1 coach) allowed on court.
For more information please e-mail covid@portsmouthnetball.org.uk

To help prevent congestion at Crookhorn, from Tuesday 11 May, PNA will be introducing a structured entrance process for all players and officials. Entrance procedures are as follows:

1. If you are playing, coaching, or umpiring on courts 1 & 2 then you must register with the PNA marshal and enter the courts via Gate 1

2. If you are playing, coaching, or umpiring on courts 3 & 4 then you must register with the PNA marshal and enter the courts via Gate 2.

Your co-operation in entering through the correct gate is appreciated.

England Netball Accident Reporting Procedures for Insurance Purposes   (Added: 01/05/2021)
If an accident occurs at a netball match where a player, coach, spectator or staff member is injured, the accident reporting procedure should be followed for ALL injuries and accidents, regardless of whether or not medical treatment is given. A team official i.e. coach, team manager or other team representative should complete the Accident Report Form (listed below), making sure to include as much information as possible. This may include a diagram or further explanation which may be completed on a separate piece of paper or on the back of the form. Additional pages should be stapled or clipped securely to the original form. The names, addresses and contact details of any witness present should be recorded. It may also be necessary, in some circumstances, to obtain an Umpires Report as evidence. This is essential for any follow up queries England Netball or its insurers may have. The form should then be copied and a copy sent to the Membership Department at England Netball within three days of the incident taking place. One copy should be kept by each team and filed for future reference.

Accident Reporting Procedures   (Added: 17/09/2015)
Following an incident at Portsmouth University (10 Novembers) players are respectively reminded that there are specific accident reporting procedures which must be followed at each site; full details can be found in the fixtures booklet but specifically Portsmouth University have asked that players must notify on-site sports personnel of any injuries that occur as they are the first aiders on-site and if they deem the injury serious then they will call for an ambulance.
